The Organizing Committee for the 2018 CAPA/ACAP meeting in London, Ontario (October 31–November 3) would like to request submissions of abstracts for podium and poster presentations. The deadline for abstract submissions is September 14th, 2018.
All interested individuals are encouraged to register and attend the conference, however only CAPA members can present papers as a sole or first author. Please see the CAPA website for instructions on how to become a member of the association (https://www.capa-acap.net/membership-benefits ).

Please note that there is a limit of one sole- or first-authored paper per person.
Abstracts are required for both podium presentations and posters. Each abstract should explain the significance of the hypothesis investigated in the study, outline the prediction(s) tested, and give details of the results of the analysis. Abstracts should not exceed 350 words in length. Please do not include tables, figures, graphs, or references in your abstract. In addition, please indicate whether you would prefer to give a podium presentation or a poster.
Submissions intended for inclusion in an approved symposium should list the symposium title at the time of submission.Please note that there will be poster sessions linked to some podium sessions and symposia this year, so you may request either a podium or poster slot for any symposium.
For an abstract to be accepted, first authors must have registered and paid the registration fee.
The organizing committee will review the abstracts. Every effort will be made to assign presentations to oral or poster sessions as requested, but we cannot guarantee this will always be possible. You will receive notification by e-mail confirming acceptance of your abstract.
