The Department of Applied Forensic Sciences (DAFS) at Mercyhurst University is offering four Forensic Anthropology short courses during June of 2015. Dr. Dennis Dirkmaat, director of DAFS, has been offering these courses since 1992. Each course will be taught by several expert instructors in their respective disciplines and each course provides extensive hand-on learning opportunities. Lichtenberg-Kolleg Early Career Fellowships

The Lichtenberg-Kolleg, the 
the Göttingen Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities and Social Sciences, invites applications for up to 12 Early Career Fellowships. The Fellowships are open to candidates who have received a doctorate within the last 6 months and the deadline for applications is 2 March 2015. The Fellows run from the period of October 2015 to July 2017 working with the research teams for the study of either:

- Globalising the Enlightenment: Knowledge, Culture, Travel, Exchange and Collections, or:

- Human Rights, Constitutional Politics and Religious Diversity, or:

- Primate Cognition: Historical, Philosophical and Linguistic Approaches
