Travel Information
The Sheraton Hamilton Hotel (conference venue and accommodations) is located in downtown Hamilton, Ontario (116 King Street West, L8P 4V3).
Arriving by Air
Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) is located approximately 61 km East of the conference venue. The conference hotel does not provide shuttle service. There are a number of ways to get to Hamilton from Pearson Airport.
1) GO Transit – There is a regular (every ½ hour) GO Transit service from Terminal 1 at Pearson airport (Bus #40 – Hamilton GO Centre). The bus departs from the ground level in Terminal 1 (Columns Q2 to Q4). If you arrive in Terminal 3, you will need to take the Terminal Link train to get to Terminal 1. GO tickets can be purchased online or at the vending machine in Terminal 1 (ground level). The cost of a one-way ticket is $12.70 ($10.68 with a PRESTO card).
The final stop of Bus #40 is the Hamilton GO Centre. The Sheraton hotel is a 9-minute walk or 6-minute car ride away.
On foot from the Hamilton GO Centre - Turn left as you exit the front of the GO Centre and walk to the corner (James Street). Turn right on James Street and walk ~5 blocks until you reach King Street. Turn left on King Street and walk 2.5 blocks until you reach the Sheraton hotel. The Sheraton hotel is connected to Jackson Square Shopping Centre.
2) Taxi or pre-arranged limo - a taxi will cost ~$150-180 (one-way) and take 60+ minutes. There are a number of pre-arranged limousine services to/from Pearson Airport. A sedan will cost ~$90-120 (one-way).
3) Car Rentals – All car rental kiosks are located in Terminal 1 at Pearson Airport.
4) Airways Transit - shuttle service in a passenger van to/from Pearson Airport. Book one-way or return trips on the Airways Transit website. Estimated cost - $135 (one-way).
Hamilton International Airport (YHM) is located approximately 20 km South of the conference venue. Car rental services are provided by Avis, National, Enterprise, and Budget.
Taxi - Estimated cost: $40 (one-way) from airport to downtown Hamilton.

Rideshare (from Hamilton Airport website) - Lyft, Uber and Facedrive offer ridesharing services to and from Hamilton International Airport. The rideshare pick-up and drop-off zone is located along the terminal curb at the west end of the sidewalk.
Public Transit - The Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) A LINE EXPRESS Route 20 operates service between Hamilton International Airport and downtown Hamilton (weekdays only, 5am to 7pm). One-way cash fare is $3.25.
Take the bus to downtown Hamilton and get off at the Jackson Square bus stop. Walk ~1 block West to the Sheraton Hamilton hotel.

The entrance to underground parking can be accessed from King Street (at Jackson Square) or Bay Street.
