The conference includes a free luncheon for registered students on Thursday, November 1st 2018. This event includes a light lunch, and a professional development discussion.
The theme of this year's student luncheon is Methods and Experiences with Public Engagement. Our speakers will be Dr. Tracey Galloway (Dept. Anthropology, University of Toronto Mississauga) and Dr. Amy Scott (Dept. Anthropology, University of New Brunswick).
Dr. Galloway's presentation is entitled: ‘Participatory action anthropology’ – A primer on community-engaged scholarship; and Dr. Scott's presentation is entitled: So What? Who Cares? The Importance of Public Engagement and Finding your Message.
The student luncheon is open to students who have registered for the conference only.
